Omaima Dajani, based in the Netherlands, holds a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication and a Masters degree in Type Design from KABK. Besides being a freelance type and graphic designer, Omaima is an archivist and educator. She has collaborated with prominent type foundries such as ArabicType Foundry and Fontef Type Foundry and won a TDC award for her typeface Lifta. Omaima's keen interest lies in bridging the gap between traditional Arabic calligraphy and contemporary type design, displaying a unique blend of timeless artistry and modern innovation.
