Julia García López (b. 2000) is originally from Seville, Spain, and has four years of experience living and exhibiting in the UK. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the University of Seville. Her practice focuses on the intersection of organic human gestures and digital type engineering, which led to the development of Yuyu, a fun, stylized handwritten font family acquired for publication by Google Fonts in 2026. Julia is currently expanding her catalog into variable fonts and distinct master weights.
