Amin Abedi was born in Tabriz, Iran. He is a self-taught type designer and font developer. He is the founder and director of fontamin, a digital type foundry and online store dedicated to serving the needs of Persian typography users. His notable typeface projects include Estedad, Pinar, Kahroba, and Mahoor.
